Clarity Birth Preparation Program
Birth as you were designed to — with tawakkul, clarity, and calm.
“I felt so incredibly held and understood the entire nine months of my pregnancy”
Clarity Birth is a birth preparation program for Muslim women who want to feel calm, confident, and grounded as you prepare for pregnancy and birth.
This transformational program is for you if:
You long for a physiological birth — one where you feel deeply confident in, and trusting of, the body Allah ﷻ has created for you.
You feel called to honour the way Allah ﷻ designed you, and you’re ready to move through fear and doubt with courage and intention.
You want to understand how to support your body’s natural wisdom, so you can move through labour feeling calm and supported.
You desire to make decisions from a place of clarity and inner confidence, rather than external pressure or fear-based narratives.
You’re ready to explore and release past stories or trauma, breaking cycles that have been holding you back from choosing what truly feels right for you.
And at the heart of it all, you want to feel deeply grounded in your deen — strengthening your tawakkul, finding peace in Islamic perspectives on birth, and carrying dhikr and affirmations with you through every moment of your journey.
“I felt that nobody was understanding me so far, until I had my first video call with the beautiful Gess. . (she) met ME where I was in my birthing journey”
This is your space to prepare for motherhood in a way that aligns with your faith — so you can enter birth feeling empowered, spiritually anchored, and certain that Allah is with you every step of the way.
“She didn’t force anything on me and didn’t try to persuade me out of my decisions, she just educated me ever so gently treading carefully around my trauma.”
My approach
My name is Gess Adana, I’m a Muslim Birth Mindset Coach. My journey into birthwork work began with the birth of my first child, Zane, a transformative experience that sparked a deep calling within me. Despite my positive experience, I noticed the challenges many women face during pregnancy, labour, and postpartum.
Motivated to make a difference, I immersed myself in pregnancy, childbirth, and maternal care, aiming to understand and address these challenges. This led me to embrace the role of a birthworker—a companion for women and their families throughout their motherhood journey.
Through my work supporting women, I’ve come to deeply understand the importance of inner work in birth preparation. When we take the time to understand who we are, we begin to see the patterns and cycles that often keep us making decisions from fear, pressure, or uncertainty. True preparation is not just about learning about birth—it’s about breaking those cycles so we can come to the other side feeling empowered to make decisions from a place of clarity, confidence, and trust.
In addition to my professional background, my interests in specialty coffee, sourdough baking, and gardening infuse my doula practice with creativity, mindfulness, and a deep appreciation for the beauty of life's simplest pleasures. I believe that nurturing the body, mind, and soul is essential for holistic well-being, and I'm committed to guiding women on this journey of self-discovery and empowerment.
I’m here to walk alongside you, to help you uncover what truly matters to you, to work through what’s holding you back, and to remind you that you can do this.
Your body. Your birth. Your baby.

“Gess proved to be an amazing source of support, providing her services virtually. Having her gave me the much needed clarity and direction I needed in my pregnancy, ultimately delivering my baby girl and having the birth experience I wanted.”
You were never meant to fear your own body.
Many Muslim women grow up believing that birth is inherently risky — something medical, something that must be managed and controlled by professionals. We inherit a framework of birth rooted in intervention rather than instinct.
But Maryam (AS) did not birth in a hospital. She laboured upright, under a palm tree — and she was guided, supported, and provided for. Her story is not just spiritual. It is physiological. It is evidence that the female body was designed for this.
The Clarity Birth Preparation Program was created to help you remember that.
وَهُزِّي إِلَيْكِ بِجِذْعِ النَّخْلَةِ تُسَاقِطْ عَلَيْكِ رُطَبًا جَنِيًّا
"And shake toward you the trunk of the palm tree; it will drop upon you fresh, ripe dates."
Surah Maryam · 19:25
“Going through pregnancy for the first time can feel like walking in the dark, even as prepared as I tried to be. Gess guided me through my pregnancy journey with such calm and grace, empowering and reassuring me the whole way. She caters and tailors her support to my needs.”
Clarity Birth Preparation Program
What our journey together will look like:
5 × 1.5 hour sessions on Google Meet during pregnancy.
1 × 1.5 hour session on Google Meet after birth.
Ongoing Messenger/WhatsApp support starting from after the first session and continuing until your final scheduled call. This space allows you to ask questions, receive encouragement, and stay supported as you continue preparing for your birth.
Week 1 - Setting Intention and Your Birth Vision
We begin by grounding into your intentions for birth. This is where you explore what matters most to you, unpack any expectations or fears, and start shaping a birth vision that feels aligned, informed, and true to you.
Week 2 - Physiological Knowledge and Evidence-based Information
In this session, you’ll gain a clear understanding of how birth works and what supports physiological labour. We focus on building your confidence so you can navigate unexpected moments with calm and clarity. You’ll also learn how to reframe pain—understanding its purpose and how to work with your body through it, so you can trust yourself no matter how your birth unfolds.
Week 3 - Deep Inner-work and Intuition
This week is about coming home to yourself. We will further work through fears, beliefs, and past experiences while strengthening your trust in your body and intuition—so you can approach birth feeling grounded and empowered.
Week 4 - Islamic Knowledge and Tawakkul
We centre your birth within our deen by exploring Islamic perspectives on birth, going through affirmations, daily practices and what it means to surrender with true tawakkul while still taking aligned action.
Week 5 - Making Birth and Postpartum Decisions
You’ll bring everything together to make clear, confident decisions for your birth and postpartum period. This includes refining your birth decisions, preparing for different scenarios, and setting up the support you’ll need after baby arrives. You will learn how to use informed decision-making (BRAIN) so you feel confident navigating your choices.
Week 6 - Birth Reflection
After your birth, we come together to process your experience in a safe, supportive space—helping you feel seen, heard, and gently integrate your journey into motherhood.
